Portable Console Project
So, inspired by BenHeck I have decided to attempt the following:
Turning an old games console like the NES or PSOne into a portable machine.
Now for anyone with any sort of background in electronics this would probably be straight forward, but for me… Well lets just say I can wire a plug and change a lightbulb 
I’ll update my status on this page as it seems to be slow going at the minute. Cash flow and retro fanboy memories currently getting in the way.
Current Status -
03/30/09 - Got back in “Project” mode over the weekend but am struggling to find a UK supplier of all the parts I need.
03/24/09 - Acquired NES and PSOne but am enjoying playing on them so choosing which one will get axed is a tough choice. Still need to acquire the required tools e.g. soldering iron, glue gun and medical kit (for when things go bad).
04/24/09 - Wow a full month since the last update. Things are slow going at the minute, busy with the kids and work as well as being skint has sort of put a delay on things. May and Junes paydays haven’t been spent yet so there’s hope yet. Plus I’ve found the Maplin Book of Dreams.
